Chia Seed Oil

Main Benefits

Studies have shown that chia oil improves barrier function and decreases transepidermal water loss, which increases skin hydration.

Thanks to its high content of linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids, chia seed oil has soothing properties. It calms skin redness and irritation.

Thanks to its high concentration of alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3, chia seed oil also accelerates the skin's regeneration process. Omega-3s are a component of ceramides, which help build the skin's lipid cement.

Use

Chia seed oil leaves the skin feeling soft and non-greasy thanks to its low concentration of saturated fatty acids. It contains an exceptionally high percentage of α-linolenic acid and phytosterols. It is therefore particularly well-suited to dry, dehydrated, irritated, or sensitized skin. Due to its properties and composition, this oil is also suitable for sensitive, mature, and acne-prone skin. It can also be used for hair care. It has a moisturizing, anti-frizz, and protective effect on hair.
